Days 1:
Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for a brief rest. After settling in, you will begin your safari adventure by heading straight to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in central Kenya. The drive to Ol Pejeta offers breathtaking views of the countryside, with the majestic Mount Kenya towering in the distance. Once at the conservancy, you will embark on your first game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see a range of animals including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). Ol Pejeta is also home to the last remaining northern white rhinos, providing a rare opportunity to learn about these incredible creatures and conservation efforts. After a memorable day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:
Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Samburu National Reserve, located in the semi-arid region of Kenya, famous for its rugged landscapes and rare wildlife species. Samburu is a haven for unique animals like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and the Beisa oryx, which are rarely found in other parks. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. The dramatic landscapes of Samburu provide the perfect backdrop for spotting wildlife in their natural habitat, and you will likely see elephants, lions, giraffes, and a wide array of bird species. After a thrilling game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner, reflecting on the day’s encounters, and spend the night in comfort.

Day 3:
Samburu National Reserve

Day three will be a full day of exploration in Samburu, starting with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. This is your chance to witness Samburu’s distinctive wildlife, such as the samburu special five – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. These species are adapted to the arid environment and make for fascinating observations as you track them through the reserve. After a mid-day break for lunch, you will head back out for another exciting game drive, exploring different parts of the reserve for new sightings. As evening approaches, you’ll enjoy sundowners in the bush, taking in the serenity of the African wilderness before heading back to your lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Day 4:
Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey south to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most famous parks, known for its vast landscapes and large populations of elephants. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge and have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is home to a wealth of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species. The park’s famous red elephants, so named because they coat themselves in the park’s red earth, are a highlight of the area. Your afternoon game drive will be an exciting introduction to this iconic park, and you’ll have the chance to explore the various landscapes, from savannah plains to riverine forests. After the drive, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5:
Tsavo East National Park

You’ll have a full day to immerse yourself in the wonders of Tsavo East. Starting with an early morning game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to see the park’s abundant wildlife at sunrise when animals are most active. Tsavo East is home to an incredible diversity of species, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and various bird species, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you will venture out again for another game drive, exploring different parts of the park. Tsavo East offers a unique blend of dry savannah, riverine vegetation, and volcanic hills, all teeming with wildlife. As the day winds down, you will enjoy sundowners while taking in the magnificent African sunset. Dinner and a restful night await you back at the lodge.

Day 6:
Relaxation in Diani

After breakfast, it’s time to head to Diani, a beautiful coastal haven on Kenya’s Indian Ocean. Known for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, Diani offers the perfect setting for relaxation after days of thrilling safari adventures. You will arrive and check into your beach resort, where you can spend the day unwinding. You have the option to enjoy water activities such as snorkeling, diving, or simply basking in the sun on the beach. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the local markets or take a relaxing boat ride. The calm and beauty of Diani will provide a peaceful end to your safari journey. After a leisurely dinner at your resort, you’ll spend the night with the soothing sound of the waves as your lullaby.

Day 7:
Diani Beach and Departure

On your final day, you can enjoy a relaxing morning on the beach or visit the nearby Shimba Hills National Reserve if you prefer one last wildlife experience before departure.
