Days 1:
Nairobi - Lewa Conservancy
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide, who will assist you throughout your safari. After a brief transfer to your hotel for a rest and a chance to freshen up, you will embark on your journey to Lewa Conservancy. This private conservancy, located in the heart of Kenya’s Laikipia Plateau, is renowned for its exceptional wildlife conservation efforts and stunning landscapes. After settling into your lodge and enjoying a delicious lunch, you will embark on your first game drive of the safari. Lewa Conservancy is home to an array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. The vast savanna plains also offer opportunities to spot big cats such as lions and leopards. After an exciting afternoon in the conservancy, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation under the African stars.
Day 2:
Full Day at Lewa Conservancy
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day in the beautiful Lewa Conservancy. After an early breakfast, you’ll head out for a morning game drive, exploring more of this pristine wilderness. The conservancy’s unique ecosystem offers an abundance of wildlife, and you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. Lewa is also known for its conservation programs, and you may have the chance to learn about efforts to protect endangered species like the Grevy’s zebra and African wild dog. The mid-day heat offers a break for lunch at the lodge, followed by a refreshing rest. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on another game drive or partake in a guided walk, where you can explore the environment on foot, learning more about the flora and fauna. The evening concludes with a tranquil dinner and time to reflect on the day’s adventures.
Day 3:
Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, it’s time to depart Lewa for Samburu National Reserve, located in northern Kenya. The drive to Samburu offers picturesque landscapes, where you’ll pass through the dramatic escarpments and semi-arid plains of the region. Upon arrival in Samburu, you’ll check in to your lodge and enjoy a welcoming lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, a reserve known for its unique wildlife and arid environment. Here, you will encounter the Samburu Five; the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and beisa oryx. Samburu is also home to large predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a thrilling afternoon, return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and an evening surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
Day 4:
Samburu National Reserve
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive where you can witness the fascinating wildlife interactions in this semi-desert landscape. The reserve’s diverse habitats, including riverine forests, arid plains, and rocky hills, create a perfect environment for a wide range of species. As you drive through Samburu, your guide will help you spot the incredible wildlife, from elephants and buffaloes to rare bird species. You may also visit the Samburu Cultural Village to interact with the indigenous Samburu people, learning about their culture, traditions, and way of life. Day 5:
Nguuni Nature Sanctuary

Day 6:
Mombasa Island
After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, it’s time to travel to the coastal town of Mombasa Island. After a scenic drive, you will arrive at your coastal destination, where you will check in at a beach resort for a relaxing end to your safari adventure. The rest of the day is yours to unwind, take in the sea breeze, and enjoy the picturesque beaches. You can stroll along the beach, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or indulge in a spa treatment at your resort. After a day of leisure, enjoy a delicious dinner at the resort, overlooking the ocean, and bask in the serenity of the coast.
Day 7:
Departure
On your final day, enjoy a full day of leisure on Mombasa Island. You can spend your morning relaxing at the beach, enjoying the sun, or exploring the local culture by visiting the Fort Jesus Museum, Old Town, or the Mombasa Marine National Park. The afternoon can be spent shopping for local crafts, relaxing by the pool, or taking part in optional water activities such as snorkeling, dhow cruises, or deep-sea fishing. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at your resort. Your guide will then transfer you to Moi International Airport for your flight back to Nairobi, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
