Days 1:
Nairobi - Lake Elementaita
Your Kenyan adventure begins upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will be warmly greeted by your guide. After a short transfer to your hotel, you’ll have a chance to relax and refresh before continuing your journey. Following a brief break, you will embark on your safari, departing for Lake Elementaita National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive will offer you scenic views of the beautiful Rift Valley landscapes, and upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take your first game drive around Lake Elementaita, a serene and picturesque lake known for its birdlife, including thousands of flamingos and other migratory birds. As you explore the surrounding terrain, you may also spot wildlife such as baboons, antelope, and giraffes. After a day of adventure, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and an evening of relaxation under the stars.
Day 2:
Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you’ll check out and begin your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies about two hours away. As you approach the park, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the lush savanna, acacia woodlands, and the shimmering blue waters of Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty lunch at your lodge before embarking on your afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large flamingo populations, which often blanket the shores in a sea of pink. Day 3:
Lake Nakuru National Park
Today, you’ll explore Lake Nakuru National Park more extensively with a full day of activities. After an early breakfast, your morning game drive will take you deep into the park, where you’ll have opportunities to see the Big Five, including lions, leopards, and buffaloes. The park is also renowned for its birdlife, and you’ll have the chance to observe various species of waterfowl, including pelicans and cormorants. The highlight of your visit is the opportunity to see the endangered black rhinos that roam freely within the park. After an exciting morning, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch. Day 4:
Lake Naivasha National Park

Upon arrival, check into your lodge, where you’ll enjoy lunch overlooking the lake. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, which is known for its abundance of wildlife, including hippos, buffaloes, and various bird species. The boat ride offers a unique perspective of the lake and the surrounding environment, with opportunities to spot both aquatic and terrestrial wildlife. Day 5:
Lake Naivasha National Park
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of discovery at Lake Naivasha. After breakfast, you’ll set out for a nature walk on the shores of the lake, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will share insights about the local flora and fauna. You’ll walk among the wild animals that roam freely in the area, such as giraffes, wildebeests, and various bird species. Later, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch before embarking on another game drive in the Hell’s Gate National Park, a short drive from the lake. The park’s dramatic landscape, with its towering cliffs and geothermal activity, offers a striking contrast to the surrounding savannah. Day 6:
Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you’ll check out and begin the long journey to Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya, which is known for its arid landscapes and unique wildlife. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to your lodge and have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Samburu is home to rare wildlife species that are not found in other parts of Kenya, such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali ostrich. The Samburu River, which flows through the reserve, provides a vital source of water for the animals, making it a prime location for game viewing. As you drive through the reserve, you’ll encounter herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After an exciting afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and enjoy a peaceful night.
Day 7:
Departure
On your final day, you’ll have the opportunity for one last game drive in Samburu National Reserve. After an early breakfast, head out on a morning game drive to explore more of this rugged wilderness. Samburu offers a distinctive safari experience with its sparse vegetation, desert landscapes, and riverine habitats. You’ll have the chance to spot the Samburu Five (the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and beisa oryx) as well as large predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After your morning game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you can enjoy one last game drive before departing for Nairobi. As the day winds down, you’ll head back to Nairobi, where your driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home, marking the end of an unforgettable safari adventure.
